Melissa Russell

I’ve been active in the Fitness industry since 2005 and an athlete since very early childhood.  As a child and into the early stages of my life I was exposed and involved in many sports including: competitive swimming, running, cross-country, track and field, volleyball, and soccer to name a few.  Currently I’m an elite competitive Triathlete and Distance runner climbing the ranks in order to become the best possible athlete that I can be.  To say that I am determined is an understatement.   Being an athlete is vital to who I am and brings joy, meaning and fulfillment to each and every day of my life.  It is this joy, fulfillment and higher quality of living that I aim to bring to my clients.

I enjoy working with all types of individuals with varying backgrounds and goals.  In addition, due to my background, education and continued experience I specialize in working with post-rehab clientele.  If you are finishing up physio or currently working with a physiotherapist and looking for the next step in improving your strength and fitness I am interested in working with you! 

Kole Magnowski

I have been a competitive athlete for over ten years. My most significant achievements are being named to the Canadian National Waterski Team and becoming the Under 21 World Jump Champion. I attribute my success in skiing to my hard work, dedication and perseverance, which I carry over to all aspects of life. In my spare time I am also an avid mountain biker, surfer, and snow skier. My personal training program consists of strength training, core conditioning, agility, plyometrics, balance, flexibility, pilates, and yoga.   Over the past 5 years I have played a key role in developing a strength and conditioning program for the National Waterski Team. Graduating with a degree in Kinesiology, being a Certified Personal Training Specialist and a background in athletics has given me extensive knowledge of all aspects of fitness training.

I have helped countless people achieve their fitness goals. Whether you are looking to lose weight and tone up or you want to increase strength, power, and agility, I have the knowledge and tools to help you achieve your goals. Designing a program based around your specific needs is important. If your body is imbalanced, I will assess the functionality of it and target different areas to help your body perform better day to day. If you want to lose body fat and gain lean muscle, I can take you through an all encompassing progressive exercise program that will give you the results you want. I have a deep passion for healthy living myself and consider healthy nutrition and exercise essential for a balanced lifestyle. I saw a quote one time that said ‘If you feel good, you look good’ and I believe that with a proper exercise and nutritional program, along with the right type of motivation, you can feel great.

Jodi Lisson

Ever since I was young I have been actively involved in many sports for the sheer enjoyment.  While getting my Kinesiology degree I have learnt just how important physical activity is for the mind and body.  I want to help others find the link between living a healthy lifestyle and enjoying every minute of it. I am committed to helping others achieve their individual goals one step at a time. Whether you are just trying to find a way to make physical activity work for you, or you want to take your fitness to the next level I will be there to guide you. I also aspire to be a physiotherapist and I am highly interested in helping those who have or had injuries to create  safe and effective workout routines that works best for those  individual needs.

Kale Robinson

While growing up in Southern Ontario I was extremely active in exercise and sports.  As a competitive athlete in a variety of sports I experienced countless hours in multiple fitness and sports facilities, clinics and camps.  My lifetime experience with coaches, trainers, conditioning specialists and peers has allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge that has helped me educate and improve the health and fitness level of others.

My approach to fitness is based on a holistic approach to exercise, diet and psychology.  I enjoy working with post injury rehabilitation, beginners looking to get in shape, to the advanced athlete looking to improve their performance. I work to continuously educate myself by staying up to date on current research on exercise and nutrition and use training methods that are aimed to challenge the body and help my clients achieve their goals in the most efficient way possible.

Jessica Dudas

Jess's passion for health and wellness dates back to her childhood.  She has participated in a variety of sports her whole life and found her passion in triathlon.  She moved to Victoria in 2005 where she joined the Junior National Developmental Triathlon Team and was on the BC Team in 05,06 and traveled to Nationals twice.  To her, the only gift better than maintaining her own health and fitness is sharing her knowledge with others.
She has recently completed her Bachelor Degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy where she completed over 1200 hours of practical experience on the Field with teams such as the Rebels Football, Camosun Chargers Men's Volleyball team where she traveled along with the team to Nationals as their Student Athletic Therapist.   Jess spent the last year of her practicum working at LifeMark Sports Medicine (PISE) where she was working under the supervision of an Athletic Therapist & Physiotherapist.  Jess has been working in the fitness industry for over two years working with a variety of clients.  She provides a tailored physical activity, fitness and lifestyle plan to help client's address any particular weakness identified and/or interests expressed including individualized exercise prescriptions using various modes of exercise and exercise equipment.  As well as, monitoring client’s physical activity/exercise program leading to safe and effective program planning and progression.  Jess is currently preparing to take the Canadian Athletic Therapist Certification Exam in Winnipeg, where she plans to become a Certified Athletic Therapist.

From an early age I have been a strong advocate for healthy living on Vancouver Island, by keeping extremely active in exercise and sport, as well as coaching youth sports. I have competed in numerous sports at the elite level, including basketball, running, and volleyball which have given me better insight into athletic and sport specific training. I believe that through hard work and dedication any goal is within reach.

A training session with me involves an hour of exercises designed to meet your needs in the most safe and efficient manner. Those who accept that results are only achieved by working hard and being dedicated will succeed under my watch. I will always push you to your potential and help you to see what you can accomplish. After years of being pushed to my limits through sport, I know what it takes, which is reflected in every session. I practice efficient exercises, whether it be for weight loss, body building, or sport conditioning my workout designs will get you to where you want to be. Hate me during the session and love me after, but get the results YOU want. If you have a desire, envision a change and make that change your reality.
